Assistant Headteacher - Mrs Smith
I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Biology and Business management in 2012. After a year working as a teaching assistant in Oxford, I decided to train as a teacher. I worked for two different schools in Manchester in Moss side and Merseyside before coming to Green End in 2021. Before I became a teacher, I trained as a swimming instructor and also worked on a horse riding farm! Holding a newborn lamb was incredible!
In 2016 I married my husband after meeting him at University. We have a dog, called Holly, who is a border collie and a bundle of energy, so I can often be found out in the Peak District trying to exhaust her! I am also a passionate supporter of Harlequins and England Rugby Teams. Unfortunately, my husband supports Wales so the six nations are always a bit tense! I also absolutely love cooking and baking and spending time with my friends and family.
Working at Green End is a fantastic experience so far and I can’t wait to carry on learning from the brilliant Trust team. I am passionate about developing children’s love of learning.
